Pursuing her passion to help others reach their highest potential, Jackie Munson is the global Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) leader for Cisco, overseeing twelve ERGs and setting the vision, strategy and execution for evolving and aligning them to be positioned as value-add organizations.
Ms. Munson has leveraged her extensive background in executive communications, corporate positioning and marketing to influence and build awareness across the Cisco borderless enterprise to position the ERGs as critical business drivers to the overall Cisco strategy. In addition, she co-created the ERG Progression Model that Cisco now uses to measure ERG effectiveness.
Before joining Inclusion and Diversity within HR, Ms. Munson served as the executive communications manager to the Cisco Chief Marketing Officer and drove the communication and brand for several key initiatives, both internally and externally.
Being a visionary at heart, Ms. Munson pursued an idea with an engineer to extend the network security which resulted in a Cisco patent being published in 2007 with the United States Patent office.
Ms. Munson enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter and is an avid runner.
