Gene Papula leads the Cisco on Cisco Sales Program. In this role, Gene is responsible for enabling Sales teams with Cisco’s Collaboration products and solutions. He’s also responsible for ACE (Advanced Cisco Experience) adoption from a Sales perspective for global teams.
Over the last fifteen years in Cisco, Gene played various leading roles managing Collaboration Engineering Sales teams responsible for GET Financial Customers. He also held positions as Sr. Systems Engineering Manager for Business Video for the Americas and for Collaboration Northeast Area. Previous to that, Gene was the S.E. Manager for Northeast Financial and Retail Region – he started his career at Cisco as a Systems Engineer in the New England Enterprise area.
Gene holds a B.S. degree in Information Science from the University of Pittsburgh as well as a M.S. degree in Management Information Science from Boston University. He enjoys coaching baseball and softball, golfing, photography, and getting involved in his son's boy scout troop.
