David Peng

Hardware Engineering Manager

Mr. David Peng is a hardware engineering manager in ENG Cable team, Cisco Systems (China) R&D Co., Ltd. David joined Cisco system in April 2007 and led the hardware development in Cable domain. Right now he is working on an innovative and disruptive technology project with top talents in Cisco.

Since the beginning, David Peng actively participated various CRDC volunteer activities, including Photography Class for Migrant Students with Handson Shanghai, Clothing Sorting Party with River of Heart, Giving Tree, etc. Since 2010, David joined Cisco China Eastern Civic Council, where he collaborated with environment protection NGOs and involved in Cash Grant selection with Cisco Fund. In 2012, David Peng became the East China Civic Council leader, to head a vigorous volunteer team in Shanghai/Hefei/Suzhou/Hangzhou.

Prior to join Cisco, David Peng worked in hardware development in Agere System (Shanghai) and Huawei Technology Co. Ltd.

David Peng holds bachelor’s degree of Electrical Engineering and master’s degree of microelectronics and solid-state electronics from Fudan University.
