Daren leads Marketing Strategy for Cisco's Global Logistics organization within Supply Chain Operations. In this role, he brings together executives, account teams, customers, and partners...focusing on a strategic approach to addressing the ever-changing market dynamics driving Cisco’s business. He leverages data, analytics and relationships to develop initiatives & programs that generate revenue through positioning and improving the overall supply chain experience. He leads marketing campaigns focused on increasing awareness of Cisco’s Forward Logistics services, Circular Economy initiatives and Reverse Logistics programs. Daren incorporates web and social media presence, including blogs and video, to better communicate benefits to customers and the environment. And he showcases Cisco’s award winning Innovation Centers with a focus on thought leadership around long-term industry impact.

During his fourteen years at Cisco, Daren’s prior roles included managing Product Marketing, Technical Marketing, & Sales Operations. Before Cisco acquired his previous company, Scientific-Atlanta, he managed Investor Relations & Financial Analysis...and began his career journey as a CPA with Ernst & Young (EY). A native of Brooklyn, New York, Daren earned his Bachelor of Accounting degree from Morehouse College, completed the Harvard Business School Cable Executive Management Program sponsored by the CTAM Educational Foundation, and proudly served his country in the U.S. Army, where he was awarded two Army Commendation Medals. He currently sits on the Georgia Chamber of Commerce Innovation & Technology Policy Committee, the Next-Gen Supply Chain Conference Advisory Board, and has served on local chapters of CTAM, NAMIC, and NABA as Board President.

Within the community, Daren has developed the Cisco Storefront for the Junior Achievement Discovery Center, designed at positioning STEM to middle school students, parents, local politicians and community & business leaders. He is an advocate for the 100 Black Men of North Metro Atlanta and Men Stopping Violence. He has led youth ministries at church, and run mentoring programs for Junior Achievement Fellows & the Gwinnett School of Mathematics, Science & Technology. He loves experiencing the beauty life has to offer, and is passionate about promoting financial literacy, traveling the world with his wife, rooting for disappointing NY sports teams, and making a positive impact on society.
