Charlie Treadwell is the Social Media Intelligence Manager for Cisco. In his role, he is tasked with developing strategies to leverage social media listening and insights to generate business intelligence.
Previously, Charlie came to Cisco just after earning his Bachelors in Fine Arts from CalArts to develop creative ways to deliver interactive web and video. As communications platforms changed from web 1.0 to web 2.0, Charlie took this as an opportunity to explore a new area of emphasis in marketing. web, and social strategy. Through self-study and earning an MBA from W.P. Carey School of business, Charlie develops marketing strategies for Cisco that can adapt to disruptive technologies and allow for successful execution of long-term goals in an ever changing environment.
Outside of work: He loves to cook, paint, spend time outdoors, watch movies and spend time with his wife, Allison. Check out CharlieAtCisco’s Kitchen blog if you’re ever looking for new recipes.
