Charles Stucki

Vice President/General Manager, Encoding and Streaming Business Unit (ESBU)

Service Provider Video Infrastructure Group

Mr. Stucki is responsible for development of Secure Encoding and Adaptive Streaming Solutions for Service Providers and Media Companies in the SP Video Infrastructure Business Entity. Mr. Stucki leads the product management and engineering teams across several global sites developing Cloud, Software and Appliance based product and solutions. In addition, over the last two years Mr. Stucki lead the development of market leading Videoscape solutions for Video on Demand / Time Shift TV, OTT N-Screen Video Everywhere, and CloudDVR for Tier-1 Service Providers.

Prior to SP Video leadership, Mr. Stucki was Vice President and General Manager of Solutions Business Incubation and Strategy for the Cisco Emerging Business Group.

This included defining the technologies, services, and sales-enablement models to accelerate technology adoption within Video and Smart plus Connected Communities (S+CC).

Prior to this, Mr. Stucki was the first VP and General Manager responsible for launching TelePresence. This included product development and engineering, as well as the creation of the integrated go-to-market strategies for the Enterprise, Commercial and Consumer markets. In this role, he built a strong organization that pioneered TelePresence within Cisco and throughout the industry. He also headed the fast and seamless integration of Tandberg, a Cisco acquisition in April 2010.

Earlier in his 13 year Cisco career, Mr. Stucki led a cross-company program to upgrade process and systems infrastructure to better support Cisco’s growing software businesses. His role as VP of the Internet Business Solutions Group’s Manufacturing Practice enabled him to work with senior business executives at leading High Tech, Automotive, Aerospace, and Industrial companies.

Prior to joining Cisco, Mr. Stucki was President of an Enterprise Software development company and led the design, development and deployment of large-scale, applications across multiple industries in the US and abroad. As a Partner at McKinsey, he also co-founded the firm’s Interactive Media and Internet practice and was a leader in the Electronics practice. His strategic consulting engagements centered on helping top high tech companies capture the upside from technology-driven market transitions.

Mr. Stucki holds a B.S.,summa cum laude, from Brigham Young University, a CPA, and an MBA, with high distinction, from the Harvard Business School.
