Bob Krentler is a business development manager in Cisco's Enterprise Networking Group. Bob is responsible for partnerships with Application Aware Network Performance Management (ANPM) vendors, ensuring users of Cisco technologies like Application Visibility and Control (AVC) have world class experiences regardless of management platform. Bob has a background in both product management and business development and expertise in Human Centered Design, resulting in GUI designs that are simple and intuitive.
Before coming to Cisco, Bob held several positions at IBM including VLSI Circuit Design on the Sony Playstation 3 and Microsoft Xbox 360 chips, operations, and a consulting stint with IBM's partner organization. Bob holds a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, and an MBA from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin. When not blogging, Bob can be found watching or reading about Michigan sports, playing soccer, or wakeboarding.
