Arthur Woo

Arthur Woo is an Information Architect with over 24 years of experience in the IT industry. He is one of the original architects of the IT Intranet at Cisco and in his current role provides consultative advice, thought leadership, and technical guidance in the areas of intranet management, content strategy, user experience, and collaboration technologies. Born and raised in the Bay Area, Arthur began his IT career as an intern for Sun Microsystems. He spent a year at Sun before joining Cisco as an intern in the Supply Chain organization, eventually joining the IT department full time as an IT Analyst. In the years that followed, Arthur’s role expanded more in the web/intranet space with a focus on areas such as web strategy, usability, development, content management, and information architecture. As a member of the Digital Experience and Enablement team in the Global Communications organization, he is able to share his knowledge and experiences through various traditional and social media channels internal and external to Cisco. Arthur has a Bachelor’s degree in MIS from San Jose State University and is active in the employee resource organization Connected Asian Affinity Network (CAAN) as their global social justice and local giving back lead. He is married with a daughter, that simultaneously gives him great joy and drives him nuts at the same time.
