Ana Sepulveda Galvis

As Business Development Manager, Ana is responsible for driving Cisco’s Thought Leadership Program for Global Education and the consultative selling process for in country implementation of Education Transformation strategies in EMEAR Emerging. Prior to joining Cisco, in 2007, she was selected by the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Switzerland as one of their Global Leadership Fellows. During her time at the WEF, Ana worked as Associate Director of the Global Education Initiative and was responsible for leading several cross-industry projects in the areas of ICT for development, Multi-Stakeholder Partnerships for Education, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship. As Global Leadership Fellow, Ana addressed international conferences on the topics of education policy, multi-stakeholder partnerships, innovation and entrepreneurship education. She also led the production of the World Economic Forum report: Educating the Next Wave of Entrepreneurs and its dissemination strategy worldwide. Previous to her post at the WEF, Ana gathered significant international experience working for transnational companies such as Arthur Andersen, Escador, and Illinois Tool Works in the fields of strategy consulting, business intelligence software implementations and business development.

A national of Colombia, Ana is fluent in English, Spanish and German and has an intermediate knowledge of French. Ana holds a Degree in Industrial Engineering from the Universidad Javeriana in Bogotá, and a Masters Degree in Business Administration MBA (with honours) with a specialization in International Organizations from the University of Geneva.
