Community Relations Manager
Amanda Williams drives communications for the Cisco Community Relations team. She is focused on highlighting the inspiring volunteer and giving back stories of Cisco employees and Civic Councils around the world. Amanda first joined Cisco in December 2010 as an executive communications manager for the Americas Partner Organization, providing communications support for the U.S. Small Business and Marketing teams.
Prior to joining Cisco, Amanda worked in the press office of two North Carolina governors, served as chief of staff for a North Carolina first lady, and worked in communication roles for McDonald’s Corporation, the Greater Raleigh Chamber of Commerce, and the North Carolina Biotechnology Center.
Amanda graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with her bachelor’s degree in journalism and mass communication. In her free time, she receives commissions to paint dog portraits, landscapes, and flowers. Amanda lives in Apex, North Carolina, with her husband, son, and daughter.
