Cisco Customer Contact Center Business Unit
Soufiane Houri is a Product Manager at Cisco responsible for the Unified Contact Center Enterprise (CCE) solution. He is responsible for a wide range of product areas across the Voice Technology Group, including; core contact center routing, product release strategy and roadmap, functional and solution requirements management, security, presence and federation, 3rd party interoperability and future vision and solution architecture. Soufiane is actively engaged with many enterprise customers and service providers globally helping them transform their business using Cisco solutions.
Soufiane joined the Product Management team in December 2005 after over 5 years in Engineering where he was a Senior Software Engineer and Architect in the Customer Contact Business Unit. There, he was focused on security architecture, operating systems, platform and network infrastructure. As a Cisco veteran, he contributes to the company's innovation process by reviewing and contributing to technology patents. Soufiane holds a number of filed and pending patents. He contributes and has led the design, development and testing of Cisco's Unified Communications and Customer Contact solutions. As part of his many accomplishments at Cisco he spearheaded the Cisco IP Communications Security initiative and contributed to the DoD security certification of Unified CCE. He was also a member of the VoIPv6 taskforce and contributes to a number of other cross functional initiatives.
Before joining Cisco, Soufiane was a Senior Systems Engineer at Simplex (now Tyco International). He holds a Dual Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems and Management from the University of Massachusetts and an MBA from Babson College F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business.
