Sanket Amberkar is the Senior Manager of Connected Energy Marketing at Cisco and a frequently invited speaker to industry conferences. Sanket is responsible for the development and execution of Cisco’s Smart Grid marketing strategy from thought leadership to sales enablement. He has helped launch Cisco's Connected Grid solution portfolio and partner ecosystem. In prior roles, he has focused on network infrastructure for advanced technologies, and it’s business impact.

Prior to joining Cisco, Sanket was an engineering manager at Delphi Corporation. He has published several papers in leading journals and holds thirteen U.S. patents.

Sanket holds a Masters degree in Electrical Engineering and an MBA -- both from the University of Michigan.
