Network Service Orchestration enabled by Tail-f

These engineers recognized that network management was full of increasingly complex ‘stuff’ being ladled over the top of our networks ignoring the root issues. They believed that a standardized data construct that could be used within any vendor, but it would be such a monumental undertaking that up to that point, nobody had tackled it. This significantly changes how services are created. It changes the focus from defining a configuration to defining a service. This is a capability that a business leader can understand and get behind.

How to Dress for the Camera

5 min read

What should I wear on your video? We get this question all the time. As much as camera technology has advanced over time, there are still some important things to understand about how light is processed through a lens and what your choice of attire can do to mess it up. Our eyes are still better at adjusting to many things than a camera is. The color and the patterns we see will look different through the lens. When it comes to TV, you really want to dress for the camera to look your best. Some people worry too much - but it is good to have a little knowledge as to WHY we are asking you not to do certain things. I have divided these tips that I generally share into a couple of simple categories to make this as easy as it really is.

ASA now with FirePower Services?

I get tired of the word NGFW because it tends to lend itself now to more of a marketing term. Anytime you hear that type of stuff it's like, "What makes it next generation?" If you look at Star Trek, what makes Star Trek Next Generation is they got android on the bridge. It's like, "So there's some differences there." More than just marketing.
