Network Architect

I am a Network Architect and have been working in the Telecom industry for more that 15 years, with a strong focus on ISP/Telco transit providers for over 10 years.  Ten years ago I moved from my very small french island in the middle of the pacific ocean (New Caledonia) to Canada, in order to upgrade my network skills.  This was the opportunity for me to get many Cisco Certs, CCIE R&S, CCIP, CCDP, and so on.

After spending 5 years in Montreal, working for Telus and Cisco Advanced services, I decided to move back to New Caledonia to boost the local networking industry there that was lacking Cisco/Network experts.  I have been designing and troubleshooting New Caledonia's Internet backbone to its current architecture, enhancing the DSLAMs aggregation and introducing MPLS-VPN/IPV6/QoS to the island.

I’m currently a Network Architect with my own company, being the most advanced network engineer on the island, and am also a consultant for the major ISPs and Transit providers there, reducing the costs of intenet service and implementing network design for local companies and Data Centers.

My time at Cisco Advanced Services has been a major asset for my skill set, helping me doing what I love to do.  Aside from designing networks, I spend my free time building up small drones and flying them around in FPV mode (with a camera and video transmitter on board, and a ground station with goggles to pilot the drone from inside). As we have the biggest and most beautiful lagoon in the world, surrounding and amazing tropical island, it is doing justice to my home island to film it from the air. I also love  riding my motorbike, travelling, and taking care of my wife and 2 sons.
