Marie Hattar

As Vice President of Enterprise Marketing at Cisco, Marie Hattar is responsible for setting and developing a strategic vision for enterprise customers, vertical markets, and CXO relevancy. She has also been instrumental in marketing a broad portion of Cisco’s product and services portfolio, including switching, routing, mobility, security, policy and management, and application acceleration.

Hattar is recognized as a thought leader and industry expert in data communications, convergence, and security, and she is a regular keynote speaker on critical topics affecting the IT industry and business operations. Throughout her career, she has held leadership roles in product marketing, product management, software engineering, competitive intelligence, and finance. She has been instrumental in building security and network architectures for leading Fortune 500 companies.

Prior to Cisco, Hattar worked at Nortel Networks, Alteon WebSystems, and Shasta Networks in senior marketing positions. She was previously chair of the Broadband Content Delivery Forum (BCDF) and is coauthor of “IP Services at the Network Edge” published by Addison-Wesley.
