Lauren Friedman has been in Security Solutions at Cisco since 2008. She helps oversee marketing efforts for the IPS and ASA 5500 series products. She also started and runs the Cisco Security Twitter feed @CiscoSecurity. Before 2008 Lauren earned a Masters of Science in Electrical Engineering at UCSD and was working towards a PhD until she realized semiconductor fabrication wasn't how she wanted to spend her time. She has been recovering since.
