I've been in technology my entire career, starting with 15 years in the Telecom Sector in various positions ranging from Network Operations to Project Management, Software Development and Technology Architecture before migrating over to Networking and Cisco. My tenure at Cisco began almost ten years ago. The first seven were spent in various marketing positions in the voice sector, both Service Provider and Enterprise. The last three years have been as an IT Architect in the Voice and Video domain.
Being an IT Architect in Voice and Video is an exciting proposition. Our team are some of the first people to play with new technology that can truly change the way that we live, work, play and learn. I'm currently working on Cisco's integration of Tandberg technology as well as deployment of our new Unified Messaging System, Unity Connection.
I grew up in Maryland and went to Georgia Tech in Atlanta for my BSIE. The years in Telecom were spent in many cities: Washington DC, Dallas, Raleigh, Atlanta, Tampa, and now back to Raleigh in working for Cisco.
