U.S. and Canada Partner Organization Cisco

Jim Sherriff is the Senior Vice President of Cisco's U.S. and Canada Partner Organization. Through a team of more than 800 employees and over 12,000 partners, Sherriff is responsible for partner enablement, partner profitability, and product and services growth for this important market sector.

Prior to this role, Sherriff was Chairman and CEO of Cisco China and had responsibilities for developing and executing Cisco's overall business strategy in China. Previously, Sherriff was Enterprise Segment Senior Vice President, with sales responsibility for 3200 of Cisco's largest enterprise customers in the United States. Under his leadership, Sherriff's team improved Cisco's overall customer experience by implementing further segmentation of Cisco's enterprise customer coverage models. And by emphasizing close government-enterprise partnerships and the special expertise of Cisco's service and consulting organizations, Sherriff continuously kept Cisco relevant and beneficial for its enterprise customers.

Before joining Cisco, Sherriff had a 20-year career with Hewlett-Packard in various customer-facing roles including sales, executive sales management, and professional services for the Asia Pacific region. He lived with his family in Hong Kong for five years and focused on growth in China and other countries in the region. In his last role at Hewlett-Packard, Sherriff served as Vice President and General Manager of HP Consulting with global responsibility for all of HP's professional services.

Sherriff holds a bachelor of science degree in computer science from the University of California, Irvine.
