Celia Harper-Guerra

Celia Harper- Guerra is Cisco's Senior Director for Global Partner Talent Acquisition. Reporting in to the World Wide Channels organization. Celia Harper-Guerra's primary responsibility is to create and implement partner talent acquisition programs. More specifically the programs are focused on enabling partners to attract, develop and retain talent to support their business growth and build capacity. This has been established as one of the primary areas of focus across Channels. Besides leading the Partner Talent Acquisition team, she is the primary interface with channel partners and the company's global HR headquarters in San Jose.

Celia has been employed with Cisco over fifteen years. Celia started her career in the company as a Recruitment Leader for Cisco's North American theatre, where she established Cisco's Talent Acquisition strategy for the sales and service organization. Celia then took on position of the Director of Global Recruitment for Cisco during the height of Cisco's largest hiring demands.

Most recently she was the interim leader for the Cisco Sales Associate Program and responsible for the development of 400 sales associates aligning to Cisco's top business priorities in the field. In addition, she has spent three years on a relocation assignment based in London supporting Cisco's Europe and Emerging Markets theatres. She was responsible for driving Human Resources strategies and building the talent acquisition strategy across 42 countries including Europe, Russia, Central Eastern Europe and Middle East and Africa. Prior to her relocation to London, Celia has held numerous positions within the Human Resources function supporting the sales and services organizations.

Celia Harper-Guerra enjoys contributing her time to the Connected Women's group on the Cisco Raleigh campus as the executive sponsor. In addition she co-leads the Global Veterans Enablement and Troop Support ; Cisco Employee Resource Group which is focused on building opportunities for transitioning military talent into the workforce. Her free time is spent supporting women who are transforming their lives and re-entering the workforce. She currently lives in Raleigh, North Carolina with her husband and four children.
