Autumn Truong leads the direction and development of Cisco's social media programs and communities for the company’s global corporate communications department. This includes overseeing Cisco's corporate presence across Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other communities, and managing the editorial direction of The Platform, Cisco's official corporate news blog. She works closely with various organizations and executives within Cisco to drive alignment on social media strategy and governance.
Under Ms. Truong’s leadership, Cisco's corporate Twitter and Facebook channels have been recognized as two of the leading social media brands. She created the company’s first social platform for Cisco executives to share more digital content on their executive bio pages. She is also credited with leading the development and execution of Cisco's first Twitter strategy at the company’s annual Cisco Live Networkers Conference and in establishing Cisco's initial presence across the social web. She has over 12 years of communications experience in Silicon Valley working with both start-ups and leading Fortune-500 companies. Prior to Cisco, she was at EMC Corporation where she lead public relations for the company’s software business. She has also held various public relations positions with leading PR agencies such as Edelman Public Relations Worldwide.
