Cisco continues to introduce opportunities for improved productivity in cloud to its service provider customers. Today, we announced that Tokyo-based NTT Communications Corporation has deployed the Cisco Hosted Collaboration Solution for its cloud-based Unified Communication Service “UCaaS (Unified Communication as a Service) Plan.”
Based on Cisco’s Unified Service Delivery, this integrated solution gives customers dedicated cloud-based applications in NTT Com’s data center while enabling NTT Com to optimize data center resources.
The Cisco Hosted Collaboration Solution will, for example, enable NTT Com to provide customers with voice and video calling, unified voicemail messaging, presence and instant messaging, and a wide variety of mobility features and options. This as-a-service offering is well suited for customers who aren’t able or don’t want to deploy or manage these technologies themselves.
This customer announcement further demonstrates Cisco’s commitment to helping its service provider partners find new ways to monetize their cloud offerings while promoting seamless, global reliability and agility.
