Network Convergence as an Enabler – Giving Customers a Choice!

- February 1, 2012 - 0 Comments

Cisco and Gartner Research recently partnered on a newsletter on how to transform your IT to reap the full benefits of network convergence.  It includes the Gartner report on “Recommendations for SAN Fabric Dashboards” by analysts Valdis Filks and Bob Passmore.  Also there are additional resources, blog & recent news links, and make sure to check out the TCO calculator!

Cisco has a heavy focus on their customers, and I believe customers like options when making any type of investment.   Within the context of Cisco’s Data Center Network Manager (DCNM), Cisco provides a choice of simplicity, flexibility, ease of use, reduction of TCO, and most importantly an “all of the above” option.  Cisco’s DCNM takes out the complexity out of managing a LAN and SAN network on a single pane of glass, and allows IT admins to monitor whether it is FCoE, Fiber Channel or Ethernet.

The next generation of network convergence is here and now.  And when customers are ready to move forward to make a decision in their network investment, Cisco will have the options all of the above.
